it's been...

It's been a hellish 2 weeks, work went chaotic last week when satay and number 1 decided to turn on their nasty self and gave me very incredulous amount of files to finish - note I told them way in advance that i was going on hols next week and they waited till the last minute till i was going to dump it all on me? Had my work review last week and that went horrible as well... it's like they've decided that they have no one else to pick on, so pick on me instead - even to the tiniest detail!! I suppose to a certain extent dad would say it builds character... and I may agree to that... but seriously, I dont need them to demoralise me....

It's also been a sad day ... I lost Toby... he's gone MIA as well and I have got no idea where he is... he simply vanished from YW's house today. Plus there's a thunderstorm and its abt to rain so I hope he's in someone's house all nice and snuggly and whoever has him, would call me on the mob and get me to pick him up!

It's also going to be a time for reflection... as I finally take my hols to go back to the homeland, I need to sit and think and ponder as to what I really want to do...What better time and way to do it than to do it with family and friends who know me best....

Welcome to Two-oh-oh-Six

So 2006 is here... and we're already halfway through the first month... sometimes I am so amazed with how time has flown in the last few years. A couple of people have their birthdays today... Buffy (my dog), KM (a really good friend), and CMD (my boss...bleh). WL is also having his wedding today... I so wanted to be back for his wedding as it would have been a great time of catching up and reminising abt the past with all the gang.. and of course, the sabotaging of the couple would be an extremely entertaining event as well :(

It's 10 days till I fly home, slight risk of chance that my wonderful boss might cancel my leave... and that would absolutely piss me off, so for the moment I'm trying to be an absolute angel at work, so that she doesn't cancel my leave. I also need to start preparing a list of things to do, to buy and to eat.... and plans are already in the making for breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and supper.....

A couple of cool things happened that brought 2005 to a great end, mum and dad were here for Christmas, got some really nice Chrissy pressies :) and then my brother got accepted to do his studies here so he'll be stuck with me or rather I'm stuck with him for the next couple of years :)

So what does 2006 have install for me? God only knows. But as I continue to seek Him daily I pray that he will reveal his plans for me, for my life, for my career, and how to serve Him best... I pray that he will show himself to me and as God continues to bless my family and I, we will continually give him all the glory and honour which He so richly deserves.
